Shipping policy
Policy Identifier: POL-SHIP-ECH-2026
Effective Date: 28/03/26
ARTICLE 1: REGULATORY FRAMEWORK AND NATURE OF MANUFACTURE
All items commercialized through Echevarría Cutlery (hereinafter, the "Provider") are subject to an artisanal manufacturing process and are produced upon specific order. The completion of any purchase order through the domain echevarria-cutlery.com implies the tacit, full and unconditional acceptance of the bi-temporal management protocols, processing lead times and liability regimes set forth herein. For any legal or logistical inquiries, the official communication channel is: contact@echevarria-cutlery.com.
ARTICLE 2: TARIFF REGIME AND EXEMPTION THRESHOLDS
2.1. Iberian Peninsula Jurisdiction (Spain): The Provider establishes a shipping cost exemption threshold for transactions whose net value of goods, after deduction of any discount coupons and excluding prior indirect taxes, reaches or exceeds the amount of €85.00.
2.2. International and Insular Shipments: No free shipping provisions shall apply to shipments destined for the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands or international destinations. Shipping costs shall be calculated ad hoc based on volumetric weight and logistical zoning during the checkout phase.
ARTICLE 3: SHIPMENT MANAGEMENT PROTOCOL AND OPERATIONAL CYCLES
Outgoing logistics are governed by a bi-temporal dispatch cycle (Monday and Wednesday), strictly subject to the following cut-off thresholds:
3.1. Monday Cut-Off Threshold: Orders confirmed prior to Monday at 10:00 (CET) shall be integrated into the dispatch cycle and made available to the carrier on Wednesday of the same calendar week.
3.2. Friday Cut-Off Threshold: Orders confirmed prior to Friday at 10:00 (CET) shall be scheduled for dispatch on the following Monday.
3.3. Automatic Scheduling and Moratoria: Any order placed outside the aforementioned time thresholds shall be automatically assigned to the next available dispatch cycle. During the period between November 15 and January 6 (Christmas/Three Kings campaign), internal processing times may experience an additional delay of up to 72 working hours due to the manual nature of the products.
ARTICLE 4: ESTIMATED TRANSIT TIMES POST-DISPATCH
Once the goods have been transferred to the custody of the logistics operator, the following estimated transit times shall apply (in working days):
Mainland Spain shipments: 1 to 3 working days.
Balearic and Canary Islands shipments: 3 to 6 working days.
International shipments: 4 to 7 working days.
Echevarría Cutlery disclaims all civil or contractual liability for delays arising from third parties, industrial actions or disruptions within logistical networks.
ARTICLE 5: IMPORT TAX LIABILITY
For extra-EU destinations (including, but not limited to, the United Kingdom, the United States or Australia), the purchaser assumes the legal status of Importer of Record and shall be solely responsible for the payment of any applicable customs duties, clearance fees and import VAT required by the competent authorities.
Sincerely,
Echevarría Cutlery Team
